Elisabeth Yoon-Jong Choi is the second generation to practice Eastern Medicine with a wide background of physicians in her family. She began her formal education studying Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and graduated magna cum laude at the Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS) for her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Her inspiration to pursue traditional medicine followed after her own personal success in finding relief from multiple health issues including stress, insomnia, women’s health issues and a lifetime of digestive issues and chronic allergies.

Elisabeth has an integrative approach to healthcare from both the allopathic and holistic perspectives to support each individuals healing journey.

Elisabeth understands health from an integrative perspective from her educational and family background, but also from first-hand experience as a patient herself. She respects the balance between the mind and body from both the holistic and allopathic perspectives, and will develop a customized healing plan exclusively for each patient to support each individuals healing journey.

During the course of her professional career, she has treated an extensive range of conditions including musculoskeletal pain (eg. back pain), women's health issues, psychoemotional distress (eg. stress, anxiety, depression), digestive issues, insomnia, fatigue, headaches, allergies, anti-aging, skin problems, arthritis, and symptoms associated with many chronic illnesses including hypertension, diabetes, cancer, HIV, and autoimmune disorders. She has also trained extensively at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Kaohsiung, Taiwan with stroke rehabilitation.
