Elisabeth Yoon-Jong Choi is the second generation to practice Eastern Medicine with a wide background of doctors in her family from gynecologists to dentists. She began her formal education studying Biochemistry and Cell Biology at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and completed her Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with honors at the Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCU).

She grew up with the influence of both Eastern and conventional medicine in her family background, however she became inspired to pursue Eastern medical studies after her own personal encounter with it in successfully treating multiple health issues including stress, insomnia, women’s health issues and a lifetime of digestive issues and chronic allergies.

Elisabeth understands health from a well-rounded perspective from her integrative educational and family background and from first-hand experience as a patient herself. She respects the intricate and delicate balance between the mind and body to treat the root cause of the disease, and will develop a customized healing plan exclusively for each patient to support all aspects of the patients' healing process.

During the course of her professional career, she has treated an extensive range of conditions including musculoskeletal pain (eg. back pain), women's health issues, psychoemotional distress (eg. stress, anxiety, depression), digestive issues, insomnia, fatigue, headaches, allergies, anti-aging, skin problems, arthritis, and symptoms associated with many chronic illnesses including hypertension, diabetes, cancer, HIV, and autoimmune disorders. She has also trained extensively at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Kaohsiung, Taiwan with stroke rehabilitation.
